My Secluded Camping In Georgia Where Is A Great Tent Camping Spot In North Georgia On Or Very Near A Good Trout Stream?

Where is a great tent camping spot in North Georgia on or very near a good trout stream? - my secluded camping in georgia

Looking for a good place to get my boys to camping in northern Georgia. I would like a site isolated private tent on or near a stream or river trout. I'd rather be drinking spot, but no water. Roads would be great if it short, running along the river or stream, so that children can splash or catch a fish.

If you are fishing for trout, because I want to wait that long to cool slightly. Trout thrive in cold weather. In September are good months to fish. That said ...

Tallulah River and Tate Branch Sandy Bottom camps are all good places to camp. All are on the banks of the Tallulah River outside of Clayton, GA.

Cherry Hill Recreation Area is a nice little campground. It is a bit over the border in SC and only 10 minutes drive from the bridge of the Chattooga River Campground Burrell past Ford. There is parking on the bridge and roads leading to the River.

Burrell ", S Ford is certainly a nice campsite, and it is beautiful and isolated. You should be able to walk with his team, but it's worth a visit. If I remember correctly, is 1 / 3 miles from the campsite. If you turn right when you're at the end of the road is a campground on the river on the right side of the road.
